Missing "rid" parameter.

i did not turn on the application token

& "&_fid_24=1"

URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid( )& "?a=dbpage&pageID=4")   this code also gave me same error.

Normally you can encode true/false values as 1 or 0.
You also might need an apptoken if your application has apptokens turned on.

Try this instead:

URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() &"?act=API_EditRecord&rid="& URLEncode ([Record ID#])
& "&_fid_24=1"
& "&rdr=" & URLEncode(
URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid( )& "?a=dbpage&pageID=4")

with an AppToken (where xxxx is the application token value):

URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() &"?act=API_EditRecord&apptoken=xxxxxxxx&rid="& URLEncode ([Record ID#])
& "&_fid_24=1"
& "&rdr=" & URLEncode(
URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid( )& "?a=dbpage&pageID=4")

Is this button you are using displayed on the same table where the data-change is occurring?

      Thanks for your reply.

    I am trying to add new record using  below form.


    Here I have 2 cases : 
    1. When Record (First Name , Last Name and Email ID) already exists/saved in table :- In this case my formula is working fine.
    2. When Record does not exist :- Here formula is not working.

    My question is :-

    How can we add the Record with  "ticked" checkbox and redirect it to new custom page.  

    I tried to use API_AddRecord to save the data in table and then redirect it to another page but in this case it is  adding 4 separate records in table.
    Can we use this ADD API to get the desired output. 

    URLRoot() & "db/" & dbid() & "?a=API_AddRecord&_fid_24=1" [Record ID#] &
    "&_fid_34=&[First Name]& " &
    "&_fid_35=&[Last Name]& " &
    "&_fid_36=&[Email Address]& "

      I have some workflow questions for you because it sounds like you are sometimes editing a record and want the user to be redirected when they "save" the record to the custom page id 4; and at other times you are adding a new record and want the redirect to go to Page ID 4 as well.
