When User Field Is Blank

If we haven't chosen a user yet, it reads "Invalid."  Is there a formula to have it just be blank? ------------------------------ Michael Brumfield ------------------------------

Can you give a screen shot.  Is this a plain user field you are typing into?  What field says invalid.  Is there a default set for that field in field properties?

    Thanks, Mark -- I dumped all my practice data late last night, and imported our clients so I have no data yet.  So I'll see if I can find you an example soon.
