@Sam - I think this minimizes the valid points raised in the community today over some technical issues (i.e. alignment and others), as well as the color issues (default white header, purple clashing with custom branding). This is supposed to be enterprise software, which by its very nature indicates customization. For client-facing applications, this doesn't look great. The rest, I can live with. I'll concede that yes, we'll get accustomed to some of the changes, but some of them seem to not have been made with the end-user in mind, and the huge variety of applications and their uses for your customers. For internal Quick Base and general branding, the purple is fine. But inside our password-protected accounts and applications, we should have the ability to customize, or at minimum, have the option to change to neutral colors like it was before.
You mentioned in another response that you got a large about of feedback that the UI looked outdated - but did people request that purple be the color splashed all over their applications as the resolution to that? Is there any discussion of changing this? If not, I'd like to know sooner rather than later so I can rebrand my applications.
