Crew Effort (Build an App together?)

Hey!
I have an idea, I want to build a Quickbase Application that is designed to operate as a Resume Builder but... with the idea of using D&D as the sort of UI.

Purpose: The primary purpose of the app is to showcase professional experience, skills, and accomplishments in a unique and engaging way by using a Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) character sheet format. This approach not only highlights traditional resume information but also gamifies the experience, making it more interactive and memorable for potential employers and colleagues.

Scope: The app will encompass various elements of a professional resume, translated into a D&D format, including character attributes (skills), campaigns (companies worked for), quests (projects and achievements), and other relevant experiences. It will also calculate and display character attributes (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma) based on the user's professional experiences and skills learned during their career.

The Thing is, I was thinking that maybe this could be a group project.
I would be happy to lead it, and I think it would be awesome that if we all built it together, we could submit it to the exchange.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Side note: I would think of the process almost exactly like a D&D Campaign, We could schedule bi-monthly meetups (virtually or in person) and build over time.

  • Are you looking for a text formula output, or something that actually spits out a document? I've been working on a Pipeline YAML generation tool for change logs recently and we could use a similar architecture, but perhaps with a few more tables for the different resume components.

  • I'm thinking an ATS( Applicant Tracking Software) as a whole, So imagine a Staffing Agency that connects applicants with companies looking to hire.
So to answer, I think it would involve all major components of Quickbase,
Formual Fields, Pipeline YAMLs, Relationships, some HTML Code Pages, The New Document Template  (which is in Beta now and really gonna be a game changer)

    Does that help?
