Button to get a report to pop up in a new window on a Home Page Dashboard

Question

Any idea how to get a report to pop up in a new window (ideally a smaller window that can be expanded by the user) by clicking a button on the home page of an app?

One method is to make a text box element on the dashboard and make a link there. It will allow you to configure the link to open in a new tab.
