I saw the email of your post back, but now its gone, but best bet is to upload the file to a "documents" table. Then when you click on the attachment, copy that URL.
Looks like you found out how to remove the title too.
Enjoy

Could you possibly elaborate on this "best bet is to upload the file to a "documents" table"?
Do we really need to host images online (generate a URL) to be able to add them into a text box on the dashboard?
Thanks,
newbie

To add an image into a rich text widget on a dashboard it would need to be hosted somewhere on the internet so that you can call the URL for the image in your widget. That can either be on a company website you have access to that you know the image will be publicly available to you or alternatively you can create a hidden documents table in Quick Base where you store some assets like company logos or images and then you will be able to pull any of those images out into a rich text widget on your dashboards. That is the way to display those images on the dashboard and having it in your app helps to avoid losing the image if the URL breaks when an online resource is changed. I hope that confirmation is helpful.

Thanks for your response - think I'm on the other side of the world from most of you, given the overnight postings.
I did manage to host my images using another online account and then use the URL to insert into the text widget, however it would be much preferable to have the images hosted within the QB account. I had a few attempts last night at storing the images within QB but failed - it may be quite obvious but I couldn't figure it out... are there step-by-step instructions and/or screenshots somewhere?
Thanks,

just make a table called images. Make a field of type file attachment and add a record.
