Field doesn't save
I have a reference field with drop down options. When I update the field inside the form and save, it doent get saved but the when I update it with grid edit it works. What could be the reason? Please help.

There a chance that you have the field for related parent accidentally on the form twice as an input field twice? Have a look at your form in edit mode and see if it's possible the same field is on the form twice.
