KPI Blocks on the new dashboard - reducing decimals

Question

I created a new KPI block on the dashboard against a gauge chart for the average against a formula number field.
On the gauge it shows a huge number of decimal, and that is brought over to the dashboard even though I have it set to only one decimal place.

Any idea how I can fix this so it just shows to the nearest whole number?

The configuration of the gauge chart itself has a place to set the decimals. Clock on the three dots and then Configure KPI Widget.
