Matching Fields between tables to populate third field

Question

I have a field in two of my tables entitled "Group ID". When these fields match, I want them to populate a third field called "Household ID". Is this possible? I've tried formulas and other ideas, but no luck.

Are these tables related?&nbsp; &nbsp;Where is the third field? If you describe the architecture and business case a solution should be possible.
