Quickbase Developer Opportunity
SGS Position announcement
We are hiring a person with significant QuickBase experience as an Environmental Protection Specialist at the DC Government Department of Energy and Environment. This position is full-time with benefits, based in DC, has the option to work remotely 2 days per week (with lots of flexibility), and the salary range is $85-$109K. Work with the Green Infrastructure Incentives and Assessment Branch (GIIAB) to develop and refine QuickBase features in the agency's Surface and Groundwater System (SGS), https://doee.dc.gov/sgs, supporting stormwater, watershed protection, and water quality programs.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop new QuickBase applications and enhancements to existing applications.
2. Analyze program objectives to recommend system design to improve program operations.
3. Work with program staff to identify and draft development requirements.
4. Write complex formulas in QuickBase, Excel, or other data management systems.
5. Test and troubleshoot new features.
6. Design and run complex reports that draw information from related applications.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve internal and external help requests.
8. Draft system documentation and user guides.
9. Provide training for applications and procedures.
While we are looking for someone who is already experienced with QuickBase, we are happy to help them learn about the environmental programs we work on. Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and APIs is a plus! We hope to find someone who is interested in protecting the environment and is excited to help us engage with program staff and users to continually improve and evolve our system.
