Qrew LegendA low tech solution would be to copy your app and then have that app hold records prior to say Jan 1, 2022. Go in to the Archive App any manually delete records more current than that.
Then once you are doubly sure that you have records prior to that cut off date in your Archive App, go into your live app and delete records before Jan 1 2022.
Set access to the Archive app as View Only, and change the banner colour or App Home Page dashboard so Users easily know if they are in the Live app or the Archive App.

I was researching:
Using Quick Base's built in CopyMasterDetail setup
- From your app home page, select Settings > App Management > Copy master & detail records
- Select the table where the record you want copied is. This should be the 'top' of your hierarchy of the set up you want copied. So if you have a set up like: Projects have many Tasks, Tasks have many Activities – and you want to copy a Project and all of their related Activities, you will be copying from 'Projects'
- Under the 'Choose what to Copy' – you have two options:

------------------------------CopyMasterDetail would copy it to the same table you're already in - so it would only magnify the issue. It also will break if you have any looping relationships - which if you have a complex set of relationships as you've described you'll potentially hit that wall.

I have a lot of experience with copy master detail.
It's purpose is to typically say copy a single project with all it's children and duplicate that project. The intention is not to create new projects in a different table or a different app

Ah .... it will not save document file attachments. That solution is more complex. Maybe you should not attempt to move the tables which have attachments. Do all of the tables have file attachments or do you have a specific documents table which has the file attachments?

------------------------------There are 3 separate fields on TableA where a document can be generated and placed. An activity (child table) has up to 7 attachment fields on the form. The documents table (child table) can have an attachment as well.
There may be more tables with documents, but that's just what I can see at a glance. I didn't create the app/ table so I don't have a full grasp of all the ins and outs

one solution is to subscribe to a monthly charged service from Juiced Technology which will sweep away your file attachments and store them on Amazon. S3. The cost from Amazon is very trivial, and may in fact be zero. I have not checked the pricing lately, but they used to give quite a bit of space for free.
The cost from Juiced is ballpark $60 a month I think but you'd have to check with them on the pricing. But if you did that you would not have to worry about loosing the file attachments. When you copy the app, the link on the record, would still point to the correct file stored in Amazon S3
