The Care Team responded as did an internal contact I know there. They were not able to get that feature working in time for the GA release but the good news is that its in status "Planned" in User Voice. ie they have it planned to get to feature parity with the old behaviour.
Mark,Thank you for your patience, I was able to confirm that it is working as intended for now. Previously, it worked in the old style reporting because it was passed through the URL but that was removed with the new reporting as it could be a security risk. We are working on resolving this as it is a valuable feature, but it will be after the GA rollout. There is not a time line at the moment but we do intend to have it back.
