Report widget not showing available reports
On our app home page, when I try to update an existing report using the widget, or add a new report using the widget, our reports are not showing up in the report dropdown. Even the report that was already previously added via the widget is not showing up in the report dropdown. I am the app manager and have administrator access. We have a number of existing reports for this table, and several are used on the app home page, and have been there for at least a year. All are shared reports with no access restrictions. They are not grid-edit reports. I have not made any changes to the type or location of our reports. I have 3 apps where I'm the manager/administrator, and the issue is happening with all of them. How do I make them show up again? And could this be tied to the recent QB update that changed some UI (tables now listed in a left sidebar instead of on top, etc.)? This is the first time I've tried to change reports since that UI update. Thank you for your help! These are the reports as shown from the table page: This is what I see in edit mode on the home page. These 2 items are the only things that show up and neither are clickable and a search does not find the reports:52Views0likes8CommentsSending subscription reports to large numbers
My question is twofold: I have a daily subscription set to send out to a large number of people. It is not every user of the app, so it's a list that's been parsed from the entire user list. Not everyone has been receiving it. Is there a limit to the number of names (or email addresses) that can be added to the delivery list? Secondly, I have an additional list that needs to be added to the recipients that are all QB users, but not necessarily users of this particular app. Is that prohibiting them from receiving this report as well? There is no other reason to add them to his app, but they have an operational interest in the information coming from the report. Additionally I don't seem to have any access to Pipelines to go that route. Thanks for any help!13Views0likes3CommentsHelp me figure out why my chart is not charting 🤣
Hi all, I'm trying to do a bar chart where my values across the X label always = 100% of the specific label. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong on the back end, but I am not sure WHAT it's calculating here.... it seems like the bar chart may be showing how often each county used my program (but that doesn't make sense either -- because in that case, left to right the total would be 100%, and that's not the case either). I want it to basically measure that, WHEN a county used my program, these are the three outcomes by percentage -- and each county's total should = 100% What might I be doing wrong?27Views0likes2CommentsFiltering a report for Combined Text Summary Field
I need to filter my report based on a Combined Text Summary Field called "Fruit Salad," which can contain up to multiple different options. I want the report to include only those records where more than one option is selected in the "Fruit Salad" field. For example: Record #1 has "Apple, Banana, Orange" selected. Record #2 has only "Apple" selected. I want my report to exclude Record #2 because it has only one selection, and include Record #1 because it has multiple selections. To summarize: Records with less than two selections in the "Fruit Salad" field should be filtered out of the report. Records with two or more selections should be included in the report. This way, my report will only show records with multiple selections in the "Fruit Salad" field.7Views0likes1CommentIs it true you cannot add a duplicate personal report name per App?
Asking for a friend, A coworker just pointed out he is getting a duplicate report name error from Quickbase when he tries to name a personal report the same name as a report in a different table. For example there are 'temp' reports in every table in the App and never a problem. He has a 'temp' personal report in one table. When he tries to add a 'temp' personal report in a different table, he gets a duplicate report name error. Is this known or does he need to clear his cache again?Solved19Views0likes3CommentsLine Graph (y-axis numbers)
Does anyone know if there is a way to make the Y-axis numbers the same on line graphs? I have a screenshot of my graph, and the right side starts at zero and goes up by five. The left side is more bizarre and goes up by two then by three. The only number that is the same is fifteen. For us, this graph would make more sense if both sides had the same numbers. Hello, I am trying to create a report that tracks each contact attempt by week. Right now, I have a report that will track the users calls based on a Contact Date field but if this field is updated, the original Contact Date information is removed from the report, and the record is adjusted based on the most recent Contact Date. I have tried to create an additional field named Contact Date #2 to track both times the candidate was reached out to, but the reports are only able to use one field to summarize the data. I included a screenshot of the report. In the week of 10/13, the 1 candidate was also contacted on the week of 10/20, but their information only appears in the week of 10/13. Is there a way to connect two reports? Or is there an easier way to track each time someone attempted to contact a candidate?8Views0likes1CommentSeparate variables
For my project, I ideally would like to create a pie chart. With what I read online I can’t do that with the variables I have now, so I created a table with two columns. First column, called names, consists of a full name, while the second column, called changes, consists of multiple variables that are separated by a semicolon. For the changes column, I need to separate each variable into a row of its own but still have it associated with the name. What can I do to achieve this? The end goal is it use this table to see what names are associated with the changes column a distinct number of times. Like Name McName is associated with "No Changes" 37 times. I also created summary report with the same variables but I'm not sure how to proceed with that either. I'm open to suggestions! Thank you!9Views0likes1CommentReport with Images Too Large
Good Afternoon, I created a basic inventory system app that allows me to log a few fields (name, part #, location, etc.). One of these fields is a file attachment field for uploading a picture of the item. I am trying to download the report (197 records each with a photo) but I am unable to download or print the report since it is such a large file (1,686,015 KB). Is there a way to use some field to compress the image so that my report is not so large when trying to download as a PDF or print? Thank you,20Views0likes5Comments
