Opening Links in New Browser Tab by Default
Is there a global or app setting to open all links in a new tab or window? When clicking on a link in a Text-Multi-Line field, the link opens in the same page resulting in navigating away from the original record. Is there a workaround for this? Is anyone else having caching issues with the new table report style? If I have a filtered report and look at it, then add to the filter in the report, I can tell it is 'technically working' (the number of results will show correctly), but it will actually show all the old results in the table list. I can tell the browser (only tested in Firefox so far) is just showing me a cached image (which is curious because the # of results shows correctly). If I switch to the old report style, boom, it's perfect. Has anyone else notice the behavior recently change on Microsoft firefox? Not sure if it is due to a recent update in QB or Firefox (this does not happen in Chrome), but curious if anyone else has suddenly experienced all QB pages 'double loading.' That is to say you click on a table, or record, or any page in quickbase, it begins to load and then immediately begins to load again. I started noticing this maybe a week ago. Curious if anyone has the same behavior and knows the cause. Definitely browser specific, so I can simply change browsers if needed, but wondering if anyone else has insight. ------------------------------ Mike Tamoush ------------------------------
Password manager appearing in a form
In one of my forms, when a user clicks into one specific field the "manage passwords" pops up. It doesn't happen to any of the other fields and I cannot see anything different about this form or the field, when compared to similar ones built in our other apps. Disable auto-populate in a field
I have a number field that auto-populates every time and this is a major problem because the following example. I have to enter the value 9 but the field auto-populates 91 from a previous entry. Something happened to cause my ability to attach files to my projects. This has been working for over 2 years. Is there a way to not have the auto fill show up when you add a new record? I saw a previous thread that said it is actual the Browser that is doing it. It said to add Auto fill off to the script. When I select "+Create a New Record" from the record picker menu, it pops open a new window, but that window tends to be somewhat small and I always seem to have to adjust it manually. Is it possible to simply have it start maximized every time? I have my browser settings set to maximize all windows, and it works for everything except my Quickbase pop-up windows. Autocomplete options?
Are there any settings for autocomplete? I have a 'Quantity Field' and when the user starts to type, it gives a list of auto-complete (not sure if this is the best term, it's not auto-completing as you type, its giving a list of possible options), and I am unsure what history it is remembering because it will give me options like 1.1234, and 1 1/2, and 1.2234. Clearly I have used these before somewhere but can't find it. Is this per browser, or a native QB feature? What is it remembering, and can I tell it not to for certain fields?
